What is a Salvage or Branded Title?

A salvage title happens when an insurance company obtains a vehicle due to a claim. If a claim is related to an accident or a collision and exceeds 50-75% of its actual cash value, usually the insurance company and/or adjuster will write off or total the vehicle. In most cases 90% of these vehicles are repairable. Also, if a claim is non-accident related, such as a recovered theft (with or without damage), the insurance company and/or adjuster will still issue a salvage certificate if the vehicle is not recovered within a certain amount of time.

What is a Rebuilt/Restored Title?

A Rebuilt/Restored Title is issued when a Salvage vehicle has been completely and professionally restored and has passed the states Safety and Emissions tests. Once this has been completed the vehicle will be registered into the new owner's name as "rebuilt/restored".

What does Run and Drive mean on our Re-buildable vehicles?

This means the vehicle will start and drive in and out of our lot or a transport vehicle and/or trailer. These vehicles are not suitable to drive on any major roads or freeways.

Are there any Dealer Fees?

Yes, we charge a $199.00 Dealer Doc Fee on every transaction.

What is a Dealer Doc Fee?

The Dealer Documentary Fee of $199.00, as set forth in your contract, represents the costs and profits to the dealer for the preparation and processing of documents and/or other services related to the sale or lease of the vehicle.

Does Image Auto Sales offer estimates on any damages?

At this time we are not offering estimates.

Does Image Auto Sales offer warranties?

The majority of our vehicles are sold As-Is. However, we do offer warranty packages that are available for purchase.

Does Image Auto Sales offer shipping?

It is the buyer’s responsibility for shipping on all vehicles. However, we can assist you in locating and booking a transporter at a very reasonable rate.

Will Image Auto Sales pick me up from the Airport?

Yes, we will pick you up from the Salt Lake City International Airport to our dealership during normal business hours unless arranged otherwise.

Do you show before photos on your rebuilt/restored vehicles?

Yes, usually we supply 2 to 3 photos on most of our rebuilt/restored vehicles. Sometimes we cannot provide these photos due to the availability of the pictures.

Can I pay by Credit Card?

We accept all major credit cards except American Express. We can accept a deposit of up to $1,000.00 to hold the vehicle for 5 business days. We also accept debit cards, money orders, cashier's checks and/or wire transfers.

Are deposits refundable?

No. All deposits are non-refundable.
